Adults 19+, can pick up a Mini Spooky Library Craft kit through October 29th at the Research Desk. *limit one per person while supplies last

Learn how some pioneers and Native Americans made dolls out of locally-sourced materials, then try your hand at it, too! Participants are encouraged, but not required, to bring some of their own materials from home such as scrap fabric or fallen leaves.

Visit the library to make a happy assortment of Hanukkah-themed crafts!  Recommended for ages 4-8.

Experience live glassblowing behind the library on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2-3 p.m.

Come get hands-on with this exhibit of animal pelts and sixteen animal skulls from Miami University’s Hefner Museum of Natural History.

Join the library and the Miami Valley Astronomical Society at Old River for International Observe the Moon Night—an annual NASA-sponsored event. The moon will be in the Waxing Gibbous phase, and depending upon conditions and timing, Jupiter and Saturn may be visible through MVAS’s telescopes, too. Astronomy-themed books will be available for checkout at the program. All ages are welcome.
