Inspired by the Netflix hit, Nailed It!, Nailed It! At Home brings the baking/decorating challenge live into your home. 

Adults 18+, join Christina, Adult Services Librarian, as she decorates alongside you in Zoom and Victoria, her librarian co-host, who will cheer you on with entertaining baking trivia and laughable puns.

Spies go out into the world to collect secrets, but without analysis, there is no real meaning. Analysts comb through collected intel to find connections and patterns, sniff out deception, and give context – all while avoiding the mental traps that can skew their results. In a highly interactive program where students are polled for their decisions and observations, discuss options, and form conclusions – they will test their analytical skills, reveal their cognitive biases, and dive into the world of intelligence analysis!

Join the MIT Museum to explore the making and the engineering process in the spirit of MIT’s motto “mens et manus” (mind and hand) as you design, build, test, and iterate on your own puzzle box. Participants will explore the engineering design cycle, iteration, learning from data, the application of mathematics skills in design and engineering, and problem solving techniques. From the MIT Museum in Cambridge, MA for students entering grades 6-12. This program is on Zoom. A kit of materials will be available to pick up at the library starting June 10.
