Patrons are responsible for all materials checked out on their library card. If materials are returned late, their account will be assessed fines as follows:

- Cards with $10.00 or more in fines and fees will be restricted from borrowing until the balance is paid down below $10.00
- Lost or damaged items will be charged to the patrons account at the item's retail cost + $5 processing fee. If the replacement cost is paid, the $5 processing charge will be waived. Patrons may choose to instead provide the Library with a new, identical item to replace the lost or damaged material, but will be responsible for paying the $5.00 processing fee.
- Refunds can be issue for materials found within six months of payment, less the overdue fine. No refund can be issued for in-kind replacements or processing fees.
- Accounts not settled within 60 days may be turned over to a collection agency, and a $10.00 non-refundable collection agency fee will be assessed.
