We answer questions.  Please ask us by visiting, calling (937) 294-7171, or using a contact form.

If physical limitations keep you from visiting the library, you may have someone else pick up materials for you.  If you are an Oakwood resident, you can participate in the Library’s Homebound Delivery Service.

If an item you want is not available from the Library, you can reserve items that the Library owns, make purchase suggestions for those we do not, or request that they be borrowed from another library (interlibrary loan).

Teachers can request collections for their classroom.  A teacher card is available for this process. 

Makerboxes, Library Museum Passes, Launchpad tablets and other mobile devices, and Sprout Learning Backpacks are a few of the special collections available from the library.

The Library Book Club meets at 7:00 p.m. on the second Tuesday of every month.

Facilities and Technology

Meeting Rooms - The Library has a Community Room and two conference rooms that can be reserved for group meetings.

Fax and Scanning Services from the Library provide patrons the ability to send outgoing faxes at the rate of $1.00 per page and to scan documents onto their personal storage device (no charge).

Wireless printing is available.  Email the document you wish to print 

Computers and Internet access, including wireless access via WiFi, are available in the Library.  The computers, which include laptops that can be checked out and used in the library, have Microsoft Office and other applications installed.  A signed Laptop Loan Agreement is required to check out a laptop.

Wireless printing in the Library is available three different ways.  You can upload your document to our wireless printing site.  On mobile devices, you can install the PrinterOn app.  Or attach the document you wish to print to an email and send it to (for black only) or (for color print outs).  Release your print outs from the Library's print release station using your email address. Black and white printing is $.15 per page, color is $.25 per page.

Mobile devices are available to check out from the Library.  Devices include Kindle ereaders, Kindle Fire tablets, Samsung tablets, and mobile hotspots.  The checking out of mobile devices is governed by the Circulating Mobile Devices policy and a signed Device Loan Agreement is required.

Tech Tutoring is available to assist you with your technology learning needs.  Sign up for a 50 minutes session, available on Wednesdays.

Exam proctoring is offered by the Library.
