Do you love Wright Library? Would you be willing to give some of your time to further promote it as a gathering place that encourages learning and intellectual growth?
The Wright Memorial Public Library Foundation is accepting applications for board members to fill up to two expired terms. Regular terms are three years and the new board members’ terms will run through December 31, 2021.
The purpose of the Foundation is to advance the goals, objectives, and priorities of the Wright Memorial Public Library. Most recently, the Foundation funded Wright Library’s Book Peddler, a locally built book bike that takes library services into the community. The Far Hills Music Series and Disturbing the Peace film screening, filmmaker discussion, and conflict resolution workshop were also funded by the Foundation in 2018.
Applications may be downloaded below or obtained at Wright Library’s Information Desk, and returned to the library. Completed applications are due at the library by 5:00 p.m., November 30, 2018.
