Dear Friends and Patrons,
In accordance with Gov. Mike DeWine's extended stay at home order, Wright Memorial Public Library will remain closed until local and state officials let us know it is safe to reopen.
While the building is closed, library staff are continuing to provide many services to the community:
- We are answering calls and providing technology, research, and general information support. You can contact the library 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday-Friday and 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Saturday.
- Youth Services staff are providing online storytimes, reading recommendations, and online meetings for teens.
- Absentee Ballot Request Forms have been placed in a box outside the library’s front door.
- We will be offering more programs virtually.
- Residents may apply for a virtual library card, or eCard, to access to all of the library’s online resources and materials.
Lastly, we are seeking your help in reaching community members who may not receive our digital communications. With the Oakwood Register closed until May, some residents may not be receiving important local information about available community services like the library. Please forward this email to friends and share our social media posts. Let neighbors and family members who may not be computer users know that they can call the library for assistance with information needs.
Through this challenging time, Wright Library is committed to reach and serve ALL of our community.
Sincerely,
Kristi Hale, Wright Library Director
