Summer Reading Challenge - Reading is essential for building happy, healthy minds, and your library is here to help!  We have incentives to encourage your child to read every day including fun quests and prizes. Join the crowd - Learning is fun when you join in with the Wright Library’s summer programs!   With dozens of live programs each week, we have something to suit every student and their families - read to your family members or a therapy dog - make a craft for yourself or as a gift - find a storytime or a teen program. Use a new resource - Get your kiddos reading galore with Tumblebooks!  With your Wright Library card, you have free access to this easy-to-navigate database of read-along books.  Whether picture books or chapter books, English or Español, Tumblebooks builds literacy by highlighting the text as you read along.  It works in a browser or as a downloadable app. *Start reading with Tumblebooks!*

Try volunteering- Does your child or teen love books and want to share them with others?  Join the Teen Advisory Board or become a Teen Volunteer to connect with your community and library. Motivate a reluctant reader with Book Buddies! Wright Library will pair childrens grades K-3 with “Big Buddies”—specially trained Teen Volunteers who will set up weekly in-person or digital meetings with their “Little Buddies.”
