Library card eligibility
Who is eligible for a library card?
Standard cards & eCards
Residents of Ohio and Ohio property owners are eligible for a Wright Memorial Public Library card.
- standard card (to borrow physical or digital content) or eCard (for digital access only)
- card must be renewed every 3 years
- free, upon proof of Ohio residency/address
Temporary Ohio residents, such as college students, are eligible for a Wright Memorial Public Library card.
- standard card (to borrow physical or digital content) or eCard (for digital access only)
- card must be renewed annually
- free, upon proof local address and permanent address
Non-Ohio residents who regularly work in Ohio are eligible for a Wright Library card.
- standard card (to borrow physical or digital content) or eCard (for digital access only)
- card must be renewed annually
- free, upon proof of current Ohio employment, such as a recent pay stub
Non-Ohio residents who do not own Ohio property and are not employed in Ohio may apply for an eCard for an annual fee.
- eCard only (cannot borrow physical items)
- $50.00 annual fee
- card expires annually; fee is required for renewal

Teacher Cards
Educators, either professional or home-school, are eligible to apply for a Teacher Card providing extended access to educational library materials tailored to classroom needs.
