Find devices that boost audio at select programs, enlarge text for a better visual experience, or access apps that bring reading and listening material to your personal device. We welcome you to explore our accessible offerings as well as these upcoming programs.

Monthly Public Meetings of the National Federation of the Blind
April 23 - Assistive Technology Fair - A unique opportunity to explore a wide range of assistive devices designed to support individuals with various disabilities. Numerous local vendors highlight the latest advancements in assistive technology and how these innovations can enhance the quality of life for those with disabilities. Presented by Joel Carson from Resident Home Association of Dayton.
Mondays - The Next Chapter Book Club for adults with Developmental Disabilities.
Wednesdays - Tech Tutoring drop-in for one-on-one technology assistance with a librarian.

ListenWIFI - Offering personal amplified audio at select library programs.
Low Vision Ruby Magnifier - This device provides magnification when searching books at the library. Ask to borrow this on your next library visit.
NVDA Screen Reader - For use with a library computer, the screen reader will read aloud the text on the screen, allowing users to navigate and interact with applications and websites using keyboard commands. If interested, ask to borrow this service from the Reference Desk on the main level of the library.
Large Print Books - Find a huge selection of large-print books to aid in visibility.
Accessible Accommodations - Wright Library has wheelchair accessible parking, sloped entrances, an elevator, and accessible restrooms on the Park Level. Trained Service Animals are always welcomed.
Memory Care Learning Kits in the Library of Things Collection - These kits are designed to provide meaningful activities that stimulate the mind and spark conversation between caregivers and people experiencing loss of cognitive functioning, often due to Alzheimer’s disease or Dementia. These sensory items are tools to promote memory health and awareness.
