About Tech Tutoring

Drop-in sessions every Wednesday, 10 AM - 1 PM

Tech Tutoring resumes on a first-come, first-served basis starting Wednesday, June 1, 2022.

Librarians are available during drop-in hours to work one-on-one to solve your tech issues. We specialize in library resources but can help with other general computer/tech questions too.

Can't make our drop-in times? Stop by the Research desk anytime for help or call to book a sit-down appointment that will meet your schedule.

What does it cover?

There's no set curriculum. Come with a problem or a task you'd like to learn and we'll work through it together.

A Tech Tutor session can help you:

  • set up a new device
  • learn a computer program
  • find useful apps
  • build comfort using your smart phone, laptop, or tablet.

What to Bring

What you'll need depends on what you want to learn. You can use your own device or use a library computer.

Either way, make sure you bring any existing account passwords you might need, such as your email password if you need help with email, or your AppleID if you need help with apps on an iPhone.
