Distribution of Rapid COVID Tests

Information about our At-Home Covid Tests

Wright Library is a distribution site for free COVID-19 Home Test Kits, part of the Ohio Department of Health's plan to expand access to at-home rapid testing. We do not know in advance when we will receive new shipments, and we distribute tests on a first-come/first-served basis. Thank you for your patience and courtesy as we do our best to keep up with extremely high demand.

When we run out, you can still find a testing center near you using the ODH COVID-19 Dashboard.

***Do not enter the building if you are sick.*** Request curbside delivery if you are experiencing any symptoms or have been directly exposed to someone with COVID-19. For curbside delivery when you arrive, call 937-294-7171 and press 1.

                          For household use.

The Flowflex COVID-19 Antigen Home Test is a rapid antigen test that has received FDA Emergency Use Authorization for at-home use.

  • Use: This test is self-administered. (Instructions for Use [pdf]
  • Quantity: Daily limit 4 tests per household.
  • Result time: Read your results in 15 minutes.
  • Ages: Tests can be self-administered by individuals aged 13 years or older, and for children 2 years or older when samples are collected by an adult.
  • Accuracy: Based on the results of a clinical study conducted between March 2021 and May 2021 involving 108 symptomatic and 64 asymptomatic patients where the Flowflex COVID-19 Antigen Home Test was compared to an FDA authorized molecular SARS-CoV-2 test, this test correctly identified 93% of positive specimens and 100% of negative specimens. (Source: Acon Labs website, Frequently Asked Questions - Flowflex [pdf])
  • Authorization: the tests we received are EUA-authorized by the U.S. FDA, packaged in a white box labeled COVID-19 Antigen Home Test from Acon Laboratories. In March 2022, the FDA issued a recall for a different, unauthorized Flowflex home test. Those counterfeit tests are not authorized for U.S. distribution, and are packaged in a dark blue box titled "SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Rapid Test (Self-Testing)" from Acon Biotech.

Other options for Covid-19 Testing

The Ohio Department of Health emphasizes that "COVID-19 tests are available from many sources statewide. While testing supply chains are challenged, over the-counter rapid testing kits can still be purchased at many locations, such as pharmacies and grocery stores. Testing is also available at many urgent care locations, community health centers, retail locations, and pop-up sites."
