Friends of a feather, flock together to this live falconry show! Miami Valley Falconry visits Oakwood with a cast of falcons to demonstrate the sport of kings with close-up crowd interaction. You'll learn about birds of prey, the sport of falconry, and avian conservation efforts. From the intimidating talons of the Red Tailed Hawk, to the soft feathers of the Barn Owl, you're sure to find fascinating the fine-feathered fowls at Live Falconry.
No registration required. The program is set in Katharine Wright Park, behind the library. Bring your own blankets, chairs, or other seating. Those in chairs will be asked to sit at the back.
Note: The library closes at 5 p.m.; no public restrooms will be available.
