We often think of insects as creepy crawly pests, sometimes yucky, sometimes dangerous. But did you know that insects are vital to the health of the planet and everything living on it? Join Dr. Chelse Prather from University of Dayton's Insect Ecology Lab for a new perspective on Insects. she'll introduce common insects native to the Miami Valley and share the many positive ways they affect humans.  Dr. Prather will also demonstrate Seek and iNatualist apps that can be used to observe and identify insects and all living things. Get trained on the apps so you can be part of the Oakwood BioBlitz (April 29-May 8)
