Anti-Racist Actions for White People, 7pm Wed. February 24, 2021 REGISTER
You're white, and you support equity for all races. Now what? Find out what actions you can take in your own life to promote a better future for people of color.
Anti-racism 101: Anti-racism is the practice of opposing racism, and an anti-racist is someone who actively fights against racism. Join Wright Library for a series of educational workshops exploring the basic tenants of anti-racism. Learn about systemic racism, whiteness, white supremacy, and more. Presented by Dr. Michaela Null of SURJ-OH (Showing Up for Racial Justice). Dr. Null is a former professor of Sociology and Women's Studies and a makerspace specialist. Each virtual workshop stands alone. Registration Required.
