Why do animals in the wild not show signs of trauma, even when they're repeatedly in life-threatening situations? Amy Shoko Brown will present the implications of basic animal stress and trauma physiology that all animals cycle through. With an understanding of what helps animals move through stressful events, we can better help ourselves move through stressful events without long-lasting trauma.
You’ll come away from this presentation with:
- A better understanding of trauma physiology
- How to access your body's natural trauma-proofing physiology
- Practical tools to help you (and your loved ones) move past trauma
