Preview selections from Rogers and Hammerstein’s Oklahoma! performed by local youth theater group Class Act Drama on the Children's Terrace. After the performance, the performers will take questions from the audience.
Class Act Drama provides home educated students a place to experience all aspects of theater and bring family friendly fun to countless people of all ages in the Greater Dayton area.
Oklahoma! is the first collaboration of Richard Rogers and Oscar Hammerstein and the very first musical play of its kind. It’s debut on Broadway came in 1943, winning a special Pulitzer Prize in 1944 . Oklahoma! also won a special Tony Award for the the 50th anniversary production in 1993.
