About the Program
Last spring the Far Hills Speakers Series presented the platting of Oakwood. As a follow up to the April presentation, Bill Stolz will present historic property research basics.
Do you have an interest in learning more about your home and/or past residents? If so, this presentation will provide the basic steps of historic house research and share a variety of local, state, and national resources available in print and online. In addition, Bill will share how to locate and use library resources, property records, government records, maps, and other tools to solve those historical home mysteries.
The Far Hills Speaker Series is presented through a partnership between the Oakwood Historical Society and Wright Memorial Public Library.
