Our Restoration and Renovation Project 2018 is well underway.
Phase 2, expected to begin late spring or early summer, will involve opening the newly restored front reading rooms and newly built meeting room. We will then close off the central customer service area to repaint, re-carpet, and to improve the traffic flow of our checkout desk, reference desk, and staff work areas. Temporary service desks will be set up in the reading rooms and near the public computers.
Renovations are expected to conclude late summer, 2018.

Phase 1 of our Restoration and Renovation Project 2018 involves closing off the front reading rooms and upstairs restroom areas while:
- rooms are repainted, re-carpeted, and outfitted with more electrical outlets;
- original woodwork is re-finished;
- lighting is replaced with fixtures more appropriate to our historic architecture
- a new small meeting room/quiet study area is being added (in the former Mystery section)
