Join Wright Library at Woodland Cemetery Tuesday, July 31 at 6:30 p.m. for a stroll through history. If you’ve ever driven through Woodland Cemetery, you may have noticed that many of the monuments have the names of many of the streets in Dayton. In this tour, we’ll visit many of the grave sites and introduce you to the men and women whose streets bear their name and how they contributed to the history of Dayton.
The tour may be deemed strenuous by some and does go off the paved roadways. Please consider your limitations. Wear comfortable shoes and bring a bottle of water.
Meet at Woodland Cemetery and Arboretum, 118 Woodland Avenue off Brown Street.
